Michigan Merit Exam

The Michigan Merit Exam (MME) will take place in March, 2014. The South Lyon Community School District would like to invite eleventh and twelfth grade students that are “home schooled” and who reside in our school district to take the exam at South Lyon East High School, a national testing site. This is the only testing site for home schooled students in the district.

If you believe your student qualifies to take the Michigan Merit Exam (only students who have not received scores in all areas of the MME are eligible to test) you must send a letter of intent for your student to take the Michigan Merit exam with verification of residency, birth date and the number of credits your child has to Ms. Linda Chudy-Bowman, Assistant Principal on or before January 5, 2014 at the address below.

The testing dates for the MME are as follows:

Tuesday, March 4, 2014                  7:20 am – 12:30 pm

Wednesday, March 5, 2014            7:20 am – 11:00 am

Thursday, March 6, 2014                 7:20 am – 10:30 am
